Dear PENPEX Show attendee:

Well time does fly and PENPEX will be here in no time. Actually to be more accurate it will be here in two days! PENPEX Stamp Show will be held at the Redwood City Community Activities Building on December 3 & 4, 2011. The show will be open Saturday 10 am to 5:30 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. To satisfy all attendees, there will be 18 dealers, 64 frames of exhibits, a youth area, silent auction (which closes at 2:30 pm on Sunday), and show cachets for sale at $2 each. The show is open to the public and is FREE.

The PENPEX Awards Banquet will be held at Harry’s Hafbrau, just down the street from the show. Ticket price is $20 which includes appetizer, entrée, side, dessert, coffee or tea, tip, and gratuity along with a cash bar. You can purchase tickets from Steve Sexton at the PENPEX show. Seats are limited. Make checks payable to PENPEX. Harry’s Halfbrau is located at 1909 El Camino Real, Redwood City on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 followed by the awards ceremony.

Before attending the 38th PENPEX Stamp Show take a look at a brief history of some of the previous PENPEX Stamp Shows via the PENPEX website. At the show, more details can be seen in the 4-frame History of PENPEX exhibit. Please take a moment to look through it as I am sure it will bring back fond memories of past shows.

PENPEX is run by Sequoia Stamp Club members. The club offers much for local collectors from auctions, presentations, local news, and question answering opportunities. Included in this monthly news eBlast are the upcoming Sequoia Stamp Club activities and area stamp shows.
